- Strain and spread on the plate.
- Marinate chicken with ginger garlic paste,curd,red chilli powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder and salt.
- Keep aside for an hour.
- Heat oil in a pan,add sliced onion and whole garam masala and saute for 3 - 4 mins.
- Add chicken pieces and ginger garlic paste.
- Cover the lid and cook in a slow flame for ten mins.
- In another pan heat clarified butter
- Add cumin seeds to crackle
- Add basmati rice and saute for 3 - 4 mins
- Now add chicken pieces and water and cook for ten mins.
- Serve hot with raita.
