Mushroom biryani is the classic

  8. 2 medium Onion (Sliced)
  9. 1 Tomato Chopped
  10. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  11. 1/2 tsp Jeera
  12. 2 whole red chilli
  13. 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  14. 1 tsp coriander powder
  15. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  16. to taste Salt
  17. 1 tbsp ghee
  18. 2 cup water

  1. Heat ghee in a pan, add whole spices jeera, both cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, star anise, bayleaf along with sliced onions and ginger garlic paste. Saute for some time.
  2. Once done, add tomatoes and wait until the tomatoes turn soft and mushy. Once done, add red chillies, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, sambar powder masala.
  3. Then, add curd and saute again. Wait for 2-3 minutes until well combined. Now, add sliced mushrooms. Saute it for about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Now, add the drained rice and pour water. Add salt and mix everything well.
  5. Cover and cook on a medium flame until rice turns cook.
