  1. Wash and soak rice overnight. Next morning remove the water and grind it in a mixer to form a smooth paste. Dont add water.
  2. Now add coconut and grind again.
  3. Take it out in a big bowl and add salt and water. Consistency should be pouring. Let it rest for 10 15 mins.
  4. Till then we will make chutney. Cut coconut into small pieces. Add all the ingredients and grind them.
  5. For tempering in one small Kadai add mustard seeds. When mustard seeds sluppters add curry leaves and red chilli. Pour this over the chutney.
  6. Take a nonstick pan. Grease it oil and rub tissue paper over it. Now when the pan is hot, pour the batter with the help of a ladle from above so that Jalli is formed. Put some oil on the sides.
  7. In two to three mins it will start leaving the sides. Fold it and take it out on a plate.
  8. Serve hot with some chutney or some sabzi. It tastes awesome.
