- In a pateela, add oil, chicken,onion sliced, 2 sliced tomatoes and all the mentioned spices and cover and cook on high flame for first 10 minutes
- Then reduce the flame and cook for 15 more minutes. Uncover and cook until oil separates.
- In boiling water add salt and cumin seeds and add rice and cook until 3/4th done..strain and set aside
- Separately in a bowl whisk together yoghurt and yellow food colour.
- Layer all the masala in the base of a dish. Add beated yoghurt on top of it. Place boiled potatoes. On top of it add 1 tomato slices, coriander leaves, mint leaves, strained alo bukharay. Cover all of this with remaining rice. Sprinkle some food colouring on top. Place lid
- Keep the wok on high flame for starting 10 minutes then reduce the flame and cook on dum for 10 to 15 minutes.
